Overview
AStroParis promotes international mobility, and offers grants study and research opportunities at the Master level. For the semesters up to summer 2021, only incoming mobility is considered.
The graduate program provides grants for individually designed study and research projects. It includes a monthly living stipend of 990 €, a round-trip airfare, and the tuition coverage for the graduate program.
Research projects
The list of the research projects of the 2021_1 call is described in the attached table and zipped file.
Applications
A candidate has to submit a statement of grant purpose defining activities to take place during one semester or one academic year.
- Full CV including usual biographical data
- Academic transcripts
- Education and research program
- summary : field of study ; concise description of the what, where, and why of the proposed project ; brief description of career and/or educational plans following the AStroParis grant.
- the detailed program for your AStroParis year (2-3 pages). Develop an intellectually-compelling and feasible project or justification for pursuing a graduate degree program ; pay attention to show how your academic and personal skill can be used for the project, and how they will evolve for building your education/research/professional program.
- Two recommendation letters

Indicative time line
- December 3 : deadline for receiving student projects
- December : interviews and selection
- January 8 : announcement of the first results
Selection
Selection is made on the basis of :
- Quality and feasibility of the proposal.
- Academic or professional record.
- Personal qualifications.
- Relevance of the research project.
Any student accepted for a gap semester/gap year at PSL will have to provide a registration certificate mentioning their registration in their home University.
